The adoption process may seem complicated at first, but it is designed to ensure that our furry friends end up in a suitable and responsible family.

Adoption request

Whether you already know what pet you would like to adopt or you are still undecided and would like us to help you find the right one for you, you should first let us know that you want to adopt. We have provided an adoption form for you to fill in and that will be sent automatically to our email address. There is information that helps us get an idea of the possibilities and conditions that you can offer to the furry friend. We want each pet to find a suitable family to enjoy years and years of love and joy with.

Let's talk

If we consider that you are suitable to adopt a pet in our care, we will contact you using the information you provided in the adoption application. We will discuss a little about what adoption means, about the obligations of both parties and about the contract.

Visit

If we agree after our discussion that we can continue the adoption process, we will send a representative to pay a visit to the future family of our furry friend. It is important for us to confirm the information in the request form, because we want to make sure that everything is fine.

Trial period (optional)

If you are not sure that the fur friend is really suitable or you have doubts about the way you or the pet will adapt, you can take the pet for a few days. We will help you when needed and we will be at your disposal for recommendations or questions. It is an optional step, adoption being possible at this time.

Contract and database registration

To complete the adoption, we will sign a contract that sets out the responsibilities, rights and obligations of both parties. With the contract, you will receive the pet's health book and the pet will be registered in the national database.

Happy ending

We would like to know how you adapt with each other, so we expect in the first two months for a picture every few days, then from time to time. We will continue to help you with any questions, so you can contact us at any time.
